File Preparation and Uploading

Please read these ASA.bz project file preparation instructions below before uploading project files for production.

Project File Formats:

Adobe® PDF® (Portable Document Format)

Acceptable Project File Formats that are supported include:

• Adobe® InDesign®
• Adobe® Illustrator®
• Adobe® Photoshop®

Possible Project File Formats which may be supported:

• Word, Excel, or JPEG files (xxx.doc; xxx.xls; xxx.jpg)

*Note - additional charges may apply for converting a "Possible Project File Format" to our "Preferred or Acceptable Project File Formats" in order to ensure efficient and accurate production of your project(s). "Possible File Formats" are dependant on the type of printing required and version of software used to create the project file(s). They may not always be compatible with our computer programs.

Project File Preparation Instructions:

The following project file check list has been provided to help us minimize turn around time and help you avoid any additional prepress charges.

• Include all "linked" graphics in proper color format and appropriate resolution.
• Appropriate Resolution: Commonly 300 DPI
• Proper Color Format: CMYK for Process Ink Color or Digital Printing Projects
• Outline, Convert to Curves or Paths or Embed all Fonts (If Fonts are not outlined or embedded they may need to be supplied).
• Include all Bleeds (Commonly 1/8" or 1/16").
• Include Trim Marks when necessary.

Project File Upload Instructions

To upload files for production from an email order, first click on the appropriate "Product Name". After following the link and logging into our web site with your login and password, follow the instructions on each page. Before you complete the payment process on the PayPal page, the page will allow you to upload one file. If you have multiple files to print, click on the "Upload Files" option on the left-hand menu. When the “SendThisFile” box pops up, simply click on each box to upload a file from your computer, just like adding an attachment to an email. You can find the "SendThisFile" option on our main menu under "Upload Files" at any time you are on the website. You can attach up to five files at one time--so you can print up to five business cards, flyers, etc. on one order.

1. If using the "SendThis File" box, click on the "Browse" button to select files to upload from your own computer or network.
   If you are not uploading PDF files, please compress all folders, files and fonts when possible using common compression programs such as Win Zip or Stuff-It before uploading if it an extremely large file.
2. Provide a description of your files to help us identify specific modifications, versions or instructions if there are several files being uploaded.

*Important Notes - To avoid any additional prepress charges, please check and proof read your file(s) for the correct content including: Text Information, Spelling, Grammar, Graphical Images, Colors, Design, Layout and File Format before uploading and approving files for production.

ASA.bz cannot assume responsibility for incorrect output of photos, completed artwork, or sub-standard logos supplied by the customer. Only artwork created by ASA.bz is guaranteed for quality.

ASA.bz will NOT accept images created for the web. This includes PNG and GIF files.

ASA.bz will NOT be responsible for color accuracy when converting RGB images to CMYK.

Use of Logos/Photos - By submitting and approving files for production the Customer agrees to indemnify ASA.bz of any liability arising out of or relating to any actual or alleged infringement of trademark, copyright, service mark, etc. contained in any of the project files supplied.
